2025 started with fresh ideas and strong momentum as we built on all the progress from 2023’s Net Metering 2.0 phase. January was busy with a surge of solar installations and so many of you getting your systems up and running before the April 14, 2026 deadline. The energy and excitement were incredible!

This year, we dedicated the early months to installing batteries through the San Diego Community Rebate Program, helping homeowners save with up to $10,000 available per project. This rebate is still active after reopening in September 2025, so if you’re interested in savings on battery storage, now’s the time to reach out.

Our home services team was in full swing for year two—cleaning solar panels, roofs, windows, and driveways. Thank you to our amazing Incentive Solar family for trusting us with your solar, battery, and home service needs.

We were also proud to work alongside local realtors to help prepare homes for sale. Special thanks to Benjamin Bodde, our owner and real estate agent with Big Block Realty and LPT Realty, for making it easy for clients to access our home services when selling their homes.

2025 was a year of hard work and joy. The Self Generation Incentive Program opened in June, and we helped over 100 families enroll for free solar and batteries. Although the program is now on a waitlist, we’re still submitting applications—let us know if you’re interested.

We also completed installations for the San Diego Solar Equity Program, giving 100 percent free solar to low income households. We have five spots left for the next round, including a main panel upgrade worth up to $29,500. If you or someone you know qualifies, please reach out soon.

From July through December, our team worked day and night to make sure everyone received the 30 percent federal tax rebate before it expired at the end of 2025. We’ve adapted, and now offer prepaid leases through HDM Capital so you can still benefit from the rebate through 2027—no need to file taxes or wait for returns.
