Self Love 101

It’s crazy to think at 52 years old, that I still have the desire to be free without the constraints of physical things. When I first had my experience being a nomad, it was all in the line of healing and having to trust that I’d be OK…fast-forward six years and after having my own apartment in Las Vegas, I find myself wanting that same feeling of being free. I have no clue what is next, I know part of it is making sure my mom is OK.

We’ll just have to see where I end up in the world or country.

Follow along if you’d like, but in the meantime, if you’re in the Las Vegas area, including Henderson and Summerlin and all of the others as well, please come over shop my apartment and buy all my stuff so I can leave here knowing that all my things are safely in the homes of those that need it! I’m giving myself until December 4 to have it all sold!

If you have the urge to go out on your own, be it entrepreneurship , start your own company, go backpack through Europe, leave a relationship that’s draining you (or hurting you) and you’re afraid to do it on your own, consider that you won’t be alone. But that just maybe it would be with new people! If you have that urge…listen. I didn’t. I had to get sick to walk away. I didn’t want to walk away from my community. I was gaslit and made to think that there was no better job than the one that I had. That I would never find something as fulfilling as it, but in reality, it was a job that was killing me, draining my soul. Almost 10 years later, I am still making it as an entrepreneur, helping a lot of different people. I went from working 75 to 90 hours a week to working maybe 20 to 30. It’s not always easy but it’s definitely worth it. My quality of life. The quality of the relationship with myself is everything. Do I wish I did it sooner, of course. Oh and that community, most are gone. And it’s ok! I have multiple others! If I would have known what it could be like out here on my own, I would’ve loved to do it sooner, but it’s OK that I didn’t hear or listen to the first cues and sadly had to wait until a doctor pulled me out of my job before it killed me. Better late than never!! Scared to do it alone? Reach out and find someone you can trust and say…help me pave the way to the new path. We only have one life …LIVE it to the fullest. So if you have the urge, listen to it it’s not just a crazy thought. You will be OK!! Much love!!! ❤️

Wicked was great! Taking myself out for a little entertainment was just what I needed for the calm before the storm tomorrow!

Lots of people saying they are coming to buy stuff! Send me lots of good juju and prayers that it alllll goes if not tomorrow, but by Sunday!!

One thing about being so busy and focused on this, I haven’t had any time to be sad! And there’s time later to be more excited!

I remember the days of going out on Thanksgiving Eve.

Incahoots, Moose’s, Fibbers Magee and more!!!

Now I’m not even caring about what I’m doing on the actual day.

Im grateful every day, and with this move and all that needs to happen…that’s all my brain can handle!

Well except that I did buy me a solo ticket to go watch Wicked at the fancy movies. Which will force me to set my phone down. I’m looking forward to it.

It’s been so fun meeting so many of you from Summerlin, Henderson, all over Las Vegas and I still have so much more to sell before I can move out in less than two weeks. Please feel free to comment if you want to see the Google dock with pictures or if you wanna come on over and shop my apartment that now looks like HomeGoods, I will be home during the holiday weekend. Most of the stuff I own is a year or less old. No pets, no kids, and a non-smoking home in great deals been giving discount discounts on certain things if it’s gone by the weekend happy shopping oh and I even have stuff that could make great gifts so come to your Christmas shopping. Better than black Friday sales.

The beginning of the lasts here in Vegas. And boy did we tear up some AYCE Sushi in the process!

Although this is not the last time I will see him before I move away, this may be the last times we have a night like tonight.

For the last five years, this amazing human, would come over we would decorate for Christmas, eat dinner and watch Christmas movies. And of course, multiple trips to Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, and at home for new decor.

And unlike the past, tonight he picked me up from the airport, we went out to eat dinner, and then he came to my place to help me take down things to sell and pack.

I didn’t realize that when I came on here to write this post, it would trigger all the memories and everything that he has done for me, that I don’t even think that either of us will truly understand for a while. I am in tears with a mixed feeling of sadness, but also knowing that I’ve made one of the best friendships of my life, and he will never be far from my heart, no matter where I live in the world.

Now I just need him to move to San Diego or wherever I live ha ha.

Kary, I love you so much. I am so grateful for our friendship and you are definitely one of the biggest highlights of my time here in Vegas. Thank you.

Thank you San Diego (& Tamara) for a fun and quick trip! Can’t wait to be back as a an official resident again!
