Everything in your body requires movement!
I can’t believe we’re already on Week 4 of our Summer Workout Series?!
Some of the biggest obstacles I hear from a lot of clients (and honestly I feel myself sometimes), is feeling like working out is such a production.
Maybe it’s the idea of blocking enough time for a class, getting yourself to the gym, or just overwhelm trying to figure out what to do at home, whatever it is, the reality is that it can feel really challenging to make fitness a regular part of your week.
Here’s the thing though, your body NEEDS to move.
All of your cells require movement to function the way they’re designed to function. They all need oxygen, your muscles need good blood flow, your brain does too!
So here’s some extra love for your body!
⏱️Set your timer for 10 minutes and repeat as many rounds as you can!
WEEK 4 WORKOUT:
Split Squats (use a chair or step) x 10 each side
Tricep Dips (use a bench or sturdy surface) x 15
Plank Jacks x 20
Russian Twist x 20

👉 Yes this is a timed flow but that does NOT mean you should compromise your form to get more reps in. Exhale on exertion, connect with your core, and let your muscles move you!
Shifting how you think about fitness, what it requires, what it looks like, how it feels, can make such a huge difference in the progress you make building strength and stamina, improving balance and coordination, and maintaining the flexibility you need for the activities you want to be doing.
