🌟 April 🌟

Oh wow! Im late for a recap 😅 Time has been flying this year:

🦷 Attended a networking event with likeminded APs on growing our businesses and working alongside each other to help as many patients as possible! It was such a great opportunity to meet so many of the faces I admire. Thank you and for putting together such a wonderful event! 🧠🥂

🦷 Virtually attended the Special Care Symposium by and that went over a wide range of topics in relation to caring for patients with special needs. There are quite a few ideas I'm excited to implement for the practice 🤓 Thank you 🙌🏾

🦷 Remodeling of my office is FINALLY underway! 🔨  Although currently working in chaos, I know it will be an amazing new era once it's done. 💎

Being so busy can be a challenge and a struggle sometimes, but checking those boxes off towards reaching your goals feels so good that it makes it all worth it. One more month (technically 3 weeks from now) until my first semester back in school is over. Already registered for summer and fall 📚 One of my favorite dental conventions is next month and my favorite season is right around the corner 🌞 So much to look forward to!

🌟 MARCH 🌟

Happy Spring everyone! Another wild month has flown by and here are some of the highlights:

🦷 A patient who found me on the NextDoor App gave my info to the San Diego County Regional Center who then followed up with me to get set up to possibly become one of their providers! 🤞🏽

🦷 Halfway through the semester and I am pleased with how I'm doing in my class! 🤓

🦷 Picked up some new equipment on a whim that will hopefully boost revenue so I can get other essential equipment to start focusing on my business full-time SOONER 🙏🏽

I am loving this journey and the relationships that I am building with my patients! Continuing education is key to growing as a healthcare provider and I'm having fun learning more as I grow. 🧠

🌟 Happy International Women's Day 🌟

One year ago today, I saw my first patients to test out my portable equipment. Then posted for the first time on my business social media! I didn't know what would come of it but I knew it was a big step towards my dream. Looking back over the year, I am so happy I took that first step and everything I've accomplished so far. Plus all of the things I have planned for the future!

I wouldn't be where I am and who I am without the influence of some pretty incredible women. Thank you to all the women that have supported and helped me through my journey! I hope to be an inspiration and give it all back to my community in any and every way possible. There are many more influences but here are my mains 🐦‍🔥

March is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month! 💚

18 million people worldwide are diagnosed with cerebral palsy. It's the most common motor disability in children and the most common lifelong physical disability in the world. 10% of the over 41,000 individuals we serve in San Diego and Imperial counties are diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

💡 What can you do this month?
✔️ Spread awareness
✔️ Show your support by wearing green
✔️ Educate yourself & others about cerebral palsy

🌟 Blessings 🌟
I just got back from having the HONOR of meeting and treating my first 100 year old patient! 🤯 Her mind was sharp, her teeth were great and she still could move around very well! Her dental office only has stairs and it has been increasingly difficult and scary for her to go in. My beautiful friend, , referred her and her daughter to me so that she can continue receiving care. It's such a blessing to be able to help them!

In my line of work, I meet people from varying backgrounds that live all sorts of different types of lives. Some are happy, some are sad, and some are just so out there you don't know what to think! Haha But they all have teeth and they all need help keeping them. And that's what I'm here for. 🦷💜

🌟 JANUARY 2025 🌟

Exciting start to this year! I've decided to make monthly update posts highlighting new skills, knowledge, tech, or equipment I've learned or acquired, events attended, or ideas for the future growth. This month:

🦷 I've switched software companies to which is already turning out to be a much better fit for my practice!

🦷 I had the pleasure of being a neurodivergent toddler's first dental experience and it went amazing!

🦷 I was asked to be interviewed for a local online magazine 🤭 Link to that article when it goes live!

Everyday I fall more in love with the work that I do and am excited to expand my skillset to be everything my patients need 💜
