Sea moss gel can last for several weeks if stored properly in a clean, airtight container in the refrigerator. However, it is important to recognize the signs that your sea moss gel has gone bad. Here are a few things to look out for:

1. Unpleasant odor: If your sea moss gel has a sour or unpleasant odor, it may have gone bad. A fresh sea moss gel should smell slightly salty but not offensive.

2. Mold or discoloration: If you notice any signs of mold or discoloration, your sea moss gel has likely gone bad and should be discarded.

3. Slimy or sticky texture: If the sea moss gel feels slimy or sticky to the touch, it may have gone bad. A fresh sea moss gel will have a smooth, gel-like texture.

4. Bitter taste: If your sea moss gel tastes bitter or has an off-flavor, it may have gone bad.

If you suspect that your sea moss gel has gone bad, it's best to err on the side of caution and discard it.

Please DM us or email customer service if you think your moss has spoiled during shipment for any reason.

Sea moss, also known as Irish Moss or Chondrus Crispus, is a type of sea algae that is rich in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants that can help promote hydration in the body. It contains a significant amount of potassium chloride, a natural electrolyte that helps to regulate the body's fluid balance by maintaining proper hydration levels.

When consumed, sea moss can help to increase the absorption of water and electrolytes in the body, making it an effective natural hydrator. It also contains mucilaginous compounds that help to soothe and protect the digestive system, allowing for better absorption of nutrients and water.

Additionally, sea moss is low in calories and contains a range of vitamins and minerals including Vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, and potassium, further contributing to overall hydration and health.
