YOU are not alone! Do gooder. I spent more than 15 years in the 9-5 grind. Towards the end of my career in the corporate world, I was withering away in a mid-management position. For YEARS I was too afraid to make a change and enter the unknown. In 2011, I took the leap… head first. After taking a year off to travel & volunteer in Latin America, I spent several years in the non-profit sector and then then struck out on my own, organizing endurance athletic events and as a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and empowerment coach. My greatest fulfillment comes from connecting with people and helping them chart their own path. I specialize in empowering people who have worked hard to achieve success but feel stuck, hopeless and helpless. Utilizing the science of goal setting and the art of mindfulness, I help clients realize the power and ability for long-lasting change from within. Joy Parkes Bio

Joy Parkes is a certified health coach and mindfulness meditation instructor who empowers and supports her clients to age mindfully by setting long-term sustainable goals rather than seeking quick fixes.

Joy’s journey as a health coach and meditation instructor began when she turned 40. After facing physical and mental health challenges for years, she decided to become more engaged in her own wellness.

Her greatest fulfillment comes from connecting with individuals and helping them find their own unique path. Through determining goals and then offering tools for personal growth and accountability, Joy empowers her clients to find the answers for themselves.
