Myth: “When studying eating disorders, examining LGBTQ+ individuals as one category is adequate.”

Let’s stop spinning the facts: There is much diversity within the LGBTQ+ community when it comes to eating disorder presentation. Whenever possible, studies should examine le***an, gay, bisexual, questioning and other sexual/gender identities separately (rather than combining into one category).
