Remind yourself how far you’ve come.”

I recently had a new client who came to me wanting to release the heaviness in her life. She wanted to go deeper in understanding who and why she was but found years of conventional therapy had only scratched the surface.

During my sessions, when I connect with a client’s energy, I see and feel things throughout my body. There is a code of ethics that many energy healers adhere to: when you connect to someone’s energy, there is no judgment, no shame, and most importantly, just because you are aware of experiences in their life, especially traumatic ones, does not mean you should reveal them to your client. Some things are better left to uncover in time and when sessions are done on a continuous basis trust me the unraveling happens.

So after the session, I always have a discussion to inform the client of what came up. I knew she was ready to know the root of it all because the energy was right at the surface bubbling over waiting to be seen, felt, and released.
During our chat, she had asked me what my tattoo symbolizes. I thought to myself what a perfect way to open up the space for some rawness. I shared with her parts of my darkness and how I survived it all. I told her that after that journey was over I had wanted a beautiful reminder of all that tried to break me but couldn’t. Then something magical happened, because of the energy session she just had, and the safe space I had created for her she just began to cry and told me her story and what happened to her. The shame of it and how that was holding her hostage. She thought she could bury it but deep down inside the heaviness never left her. She had such a beautiful release of emotions and her voice was loud with conviction as she released the shame of saying what she had experienced out loud for someone else to hear and pay witness to.

I ended our call with this quote:

We gathered yesterday for the Fall Equinox calling in the wise woman as the season shifts from Summer to Fall. We found stillness tucked away at a magical oasis in Topanga. We danced, we cried, we laughed, we rested, we nourished our bodies, we let go and released, we were one with the land…You know it was a good day when after our closing circle no one wanted to get up and leave. Part of the healing journey is understanding your wounds, where they come from, and who helped create them.

The thing I tell my clients is that this journey of healing will have nothing to do with that other person/ people and everything to do with you.

What does that mean?

For example, the most obvious of wounds is the mother and father wounds. People want an apology or an acknowledgment of the pain that was caused in the past and more often than not that does not happen.

So people fixate on that vs. focusing on releasing the wound.

From what I have noticed not only in my journey but others, you will attract souls that will help to heal those wounds.

So instead of coming into this thinking the people who hurt you need to do this, you should focus on what you need to do to heal that wound.
When you start shifting that energy your frequency changes and you attract more soul family and usually these are the people who will help you heal.

So releasing that expectation of what it should look like and allowing it to just be how it will be.

The key parts of this are:
🪶 Acknowledging the wound
🪶 Forgiving yourself for allowing the wound to be for so long
🪶 Coming from a place of compassion and understanding for those who have hurt you. (This is optional) although the spiritual community likes to push this one I don’t because when we are talking about real, deep, big trauma asking someone to do this might not be the best choice for them at that moment.
I’ve seen this come in time if ever at all and guess what that’s OK!
🪶Giving yourself what you never received and it’s in this phase that you will attract those offering the same love in return. You know that saying your vibe attracts your tribe….

When you finally release all that was you create space for all that is and can and will be.

I remember January of 2024 was a really hard month for me. I became very restless with where I was at in my life. I was like OK I’ve done all the things needed and it’s been a good while of being in survival mode and healing mode, now I’d like to shift out of this and be in creating and living mode…I spoke to my sister Crystal from and shared my frustrations and also fears as I felt maybe this was the new me now and I’d never get back that spark I loved within me again…That’s when she reminded me of one thing that refocused my energy. She reminded me of the season we were in. I seemed to have gotten caught up in the 3D calendar year and the New Year, New Me 💩. When in reality although we “celebrate” a new year coming in on Jan. 1 we are just beginning the season of Winter and so in honoring the cycles of the season and in honoring our Mother Earth we were in the season of hibernation. Not of creating and blossoming.Mother Earth is a wise and great teacher and I have always leaned into her lessons and cycles and have mirrored that vs. what the outside world has created for us to follow. And yet I too sometimes fall into the trap of the 3D world but get reminded real quick that that is not my natural flow state. All that to say we are gearing up for the Fall Equinox. It’s a time to reap what you’ve been putting your life force toward these past nine months. It’s a time when there is an equal amount of light and dark present in a day—it’s all about balance—so it’s a powerful time to rebalance, restore, and refocus your energy. I recently started an event saying “I know you are wondering why you are here and who the hell am I?”

True Story!
I’ve been doing events for decades now and I normally don’t ever get nervous but most recently when I was booked to guide a family on a journey to re-connect with their loved one who transitioned I found myself nervous as I was setting up.

The family coming was three generations of members and I knew that only 1 member, the mom wanted this ceremony and brought along all the rest to have the experience of reconnecting as she had in a previous session with me. As I was tapping into the energies which I normally do before a ceremony I felt the hesitation and fear coming from a few family members. Which made me nervous as for this to work you have to be open to the experience. When people book me it’s because they believe in my work and for the most part have a spiritual practice of their own.

So I found myself feeling nervous because I am so passionate about this work and I don’t wish to disappoint people who are already in so much pain and grief.

When they arrived it was mom, dad, brother, aunt, and grandmother. Everyone except the mother was quiet and cautious walking towards me and my space.

They all gathered around me in a circle and I decided to sit alongside them and say “I know Mom brought you here and you are all wondering WTF?”

Everyone broke out in laughter which helped ease the energy I was feeling from them.

I continued to say a few more things knowing their story and their heartache and ended with…

“All I ask of you is to keep your heart open. Be open to this experience and I promise you, you will be able to see him. You each will have your own journey with your loved one and experience such a profound healing that you will know that he is ok and that there is so much more than just this life and what we can see with our bare eyes. Your pain and heartache are real and this won’t stop the grief you hold inside but your love is also real and alive and is the bridge that will always keep you connected to him.

After the session, we sat in circle again and I asked if anyone wanted to share their experience. They all wanted to share their experience with me and the group. With tears in their eyes, they shared their unique magical journey how they were able to connect and see their loved one, and how he hugged and shared moments with them during their journey.

With tears in my eyes, I said thank you for being open. Now you know that death is only the beginning not the end and may that offer you a little peace that he is ok and still with you all.

Death beautiful world is a natural part of this life cycle. A very painful one but it is also an invitation to go deeper into your spirituality and open yourself up to the possibilities of more, so much more….

Grateful for the work that I do and for those open to receiving.

In 2016 I attended my very first mass meditation in NYC at Lincoln Center with over 200 people in attendance. We all came together from all walks of life in the most energetic, busiest, and noisiest city there is and got real quiet with ourselves and each other. It was such a beautiful experience for me who has always struggled ever since I was little to understand why the words of people never matched what I saw from an energetic standpoint. The intention was set and could be felt. At that moment it made me realize how powerful being quiet not only with yourself was but also with others. It was a beautiful way to reconnect in community.

I enjoy BEing in silence. I love the quiet and what it tells me. There is so much unnecessary chatter in this world. A lot of noise that wants to disconnect you from your inner knowing. I have a daily practice of quiet time and have felt the urge to add BEing in silence with others to my practice. So I’ve been hitting up my sauna place during quiet hours and I have been loving sitting and sweating with others in silence.😍

You would have to be living underneath a rock not to feel the intense energies swirling around our collective at this very moment.

This is a gentle reminder to pause, take a breath, and disconnect when you can from all the outside noise. Bring yourself back to home base.
