Three Good Things Practice Before You Go To Bed.
What is it and Why Do It?
Reflect on 3 good things you did today and why they happened. They can be big or small. Keep it simple, no need to overthink it.
For example: answered an email you were avoiding, took a walk during your lunch, drank 2 glasses of water, spoke up in class/work, followed through on what you said you were going to do, communicated your boundaries at work, or took a breath before responding or took a self-care moment.
🧠Why it works?
-Shifts our focus from self-criticism to appreciation.
-Trains our brain to see what’s going well, which can counter rumination and negative thought patterns
-Recognizing our daily wins builds a sense of progress and accomplishment which can increase feelings of happiness and life satisfaction.
