Under our roof we combine a holistic Mind-Body Wellness Center and a Reiki Training Center, specializing in Jikiden Reiki, the most authentic style of Japanese mind-body healing art of Reiki. Our center director Dr. Maria Danilychev combines her extensive knowledge and years of experience as a Western Medicine with Reiki, helping you feel your best naturally, while fully understanding your health from a Western and Holistic medicine perspectives. Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is a very gentle technique, and through the practitioner’s light tough it promotes natural self-healing on many levels (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual). Reiki is a simple and safe relaxation method which promotes restoration, and it is often a grounding and balancing experience. Each session is usually performed in a quiet area with dim lighting, with the client lying down (or sitting, if unable to lie flat). Reiki involves light touch, with the Reiki practitioner placing his or her hands over different areas of the client's body, promoting relaxation and energy flow. The client stays fully clothed during each 60-120 minute session. Reiki is a very gentle holistic process and can be used as often as daily, depending on each client's needs. A lot of people who have received Reiki are amazed with the results. Although the practice of Reiki is not medical, and it is not meant to diagnose or treat any condition or illness, many find it quite beneficial. Dr. Maria Danilychev, M.D. is our center Director, and in addition to the Reiki and Wellness sessions she heads the Jikiden Reiki Training center, offering official Jikiden Reiki Certification from the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto, Japan. Dr. Danilychev is a practicing Western Medicine physician, trained and board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and as a Medical Director. Coming from the Western Medicine background and knowing Reiki energy flow techniques, Dr. Danilychev possesses a unique insight into health and wellness, as well as into various treatment options and approaches.
