I provide care to those struggling with mental and emotional health disorders as well as those facing challenges with adjustment to all phases of life & transitions. I also work with specific populations including: Addiction and Substance-Affected Individuals, First Responders & Law Enforcement, Healthcare Professionals, Educators, Corporate Professionals, Veterans, LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, Immigrants/Refugees, Court-Ordered or Formerly Incarcerated, and Individuals in Non-Traditional Relationships. As a psychologist, my passion lies in helping individuals navigate life's challenges and facilitating their journey towards growth and healing. I believe in the power of therapy to foster self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change. It is an honor to walk alongside my patients as they explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Some seasons aren’t meant to be “gotten through.” They’re meant to grow you in ways you can’t yet see. If you’re in a hard chapter, it doesn’t mean you’re failing, it may mean you’re evolving. Growth often feels uncomfortable before it feels empowering. You are allowed to take your time. You are allowed to need support. And you are capable of more than you think.

It’s easy to slip into survival mode.... “Just get through the week. Just get through this phase.” But what if this moment is shaping strength, clarity, boundaries, or self-trust? Growth doesn’t always look inspirational. Sometimes it looks like setting a boundary. Sometimes it looks like resting. Sometimes it looks like asking for help. Whatever you’re facing right now, you can grow through this.

It’s okay not to be okay, especially in times that feel uncertain or divided. Many are feeling emotionally stretched right now. Our emotions often mirror the world around us and in challenging times, giving yourself permission to feel is an act of both strength and self-care. Naming what we feel helps regulate our nervous system and awareness builds resilience and helps us respond rather than react. It's okay not to be okay and reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Hello everyone! I’m Dr. Jen, a licensed psychologist and owner of Dr. Jen Therapy since 2022, a private practice offering telehealth therapy throughout California. For the past 18 years, I’ve worked as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor- II, and I’m also certified in trauma therapy and an anger management specialist. I’m passionate about helping people heal, grow, and find balance.

I support individuals experiencing the challenges of: Depression & anxiety, stress & work burnout, trauma & addiction recovery, relationship and peer issues, bipolar disorder and other mental health concerns.
