I’m delighted to share with everyone a very special edition to Love Warrior Birth Services. Kylie Oliver and I have been co-workers for over 15 years and we have worked closely for many of them. She has been offering support to families on and off since the late 90’s as a doula, photographer, or just a special person who has a keen ear for compassion and listening. She was one of the few people I called on when I needed advice or someone to talk to when I was pregnant and a new mama. Over the years we have partnered as doulas a handful of times and I always knew eventually things would align for us to come together in our birth work. Kylie finally answered her calling for childbirth education last year and began training with Birthing From Within. We are thrilled to announce that we will begin teaching classes together beginning this year. We are hard at work getting our website updated and classes scheduled. We are greatly looking forward to supporting families as a team!!

The end of 2019 brought on big changes to Love Warrior Birth Services. Since 2012 Stephanie and I have been working together, learning, growing and supporting families. For that I am immensely grateful. With a love warrior spirit, Stephanie and her family have answered a calling to a new journey out of state.
2020 is already off to an amazing start with new projects and partnerships for Love Warrior Birth Services. Stay tuned! Love you Stephanie Adams 💜

What is described in the article is the essence to our approach to birth.

"A birth warrior does not always feel strong, relaxed, and connected. She has moments filled with a wide range of emotions: vulnerability, fear, excitement, uncertainty, love, and doubt to name a few. Birth is a humbling experience. Whether it happens in a tub surrounded by candles or under the knife of a surgeon - it is humbling. The intensity of labor often means some scary moments. And that is ok. Fear is just a part of the process, not necessarily interference in it.
