Doc told me to trash my treadmill. And bring out the pizza and ice cream.
That’s how I got this physique and the nickname “Jacked Grandpa”.
All I had to do was use “neuromuscular rewiring” (I’ll let Doc explain this in a minute).
In a matter of a few weeks, I went from “soft” to “jacked”…
When my family saw my jaw-dropping progress, they were shocked.
I still remember that day when I saw Doc’s social media post and his crazy transformation.
At first, I was VERY skeptical.
You see, I’m the type of guy who doesn’t get fooled easily.
I didn’t care about his fancy lab coat or how many Best Doctor awards he’d won.
I only cared for one thing - can this doctor get me RESULTS?
I joined his private facebook group and made my first post, “Can the neuromuscular switch get SWITCHED ON in a 73 year old?”
Then I made another post.
“Can it keep the gains coming in week after week (without spending hours in the gym)?”
And then another…
“Can it keep my metabolism up and get me jacked (while I continue to eat like a king).”
I was by far the loudest one in the facebook group. I wanted GAINS.
At the time Doc had just finished writing his new book.
He offered it to the facebook group for free, since we were in his inner circle. We just had to pay shipping.
So I thought, “what do I have to lose? I’ll give this a shot.”
And thank God I did.
Doc’s book helped me pack on so much muscle and lose so much body fat in such a short time…
…that I was regularly accused of being on “performance enhancers.”
See, let me take you back a few years.
Back then, I was losing a lot of muscle.
I figured that it was because of my age.
I had read online that men lose up to 30% of their lean muscle mass with age.
And I had lost more than 50 pounds of muscle since my college and military days.
When I looked in the mirror, I was actually angry at what nature had done to me as I got older.
I was losing the motivation to work out and eat healthy. Nothing worked.
I tried so many different diets - first keto, then vegan.
Something was off. I was depriving myself of all my favorite foods.
It didn’t feel good inside. Something had to change.
I even tried carnivore despite all the loose stools.
When I was younger, I would eat pizzas and cheeseburgers and then ice cream for dessert and still stay in shape.
And I really wanted to have a sculpted, Hollywood physique while eating all my favorite foods.
You see, I grew up in California and saw all the masculine men of Hollywood.
My mom was a Hollywood actress and I was always on set surrounded by big muscles and six pack abs.
Even older guys looked jacked.
But that’s not what I saw outside of Hollywood. I wondered what their secret was?
These shredded actors barely worked out… I saw them eating whatever they wanted.
Something didn’t add up.
But I knew one thing for sure - Big muscles and washboard abs is what I really wanted.
But when I got older, I lost most of my muscle.
Women started treating me like I was invisible.
And by women I mean my wife. I just wanted her to notice me.
And honestly, I felt jealous when I saw guys with impressive physiques.
They had masculine power when they walked in the room - and I saw the way women smiled at them.
I was afraid of losing my wife to one of these more muscular guys.
I just wanted to feel masculine. To feel like a lion. To stand out in a crowd.
But I didn’t want to spend hours at the gym.
My real-estate business was picking up and I didn’t want to sacrifice my work or my family relationships.
Despite my career success, what I really wanted was to feel confident and secure with my body.
I realized that I had to take action.
So I went online and started reading the advice of fitness gurus.
And honestly, it was all very disappointing.
Nothing but a bunch of false promises.
They were teaching me how to cook chicken, broccoli and rice and eat 5 meals a day.
They were spending hours in the gym.
That type of life was not for me.
But I knew one thing for sure - I had to get all my muscle back, naturally and quickly.
Without doing ridiculous diets like keto, carnivore or vegan.
I wanted to continue eating my favorite foods.
And Doc’s book was the answer to all my problems.
He had somehow figured out Hollywood's secret trick.
So I started training using Doc’s unconventional way.
I read a few of the studies he published.
It was all legit. 100% proven by science…and it started working from the first day.
But that was just the start.
My results were sent into overdrive once I made a small tweak in my nutrition.
This tweak was explained in the book. It was so simple.
My favorite part was that I could continue to stuff my face with pizza, cheeseburgers and chocolate chip cookies and still make incredible gains.
I begin to realize why Doc has such a big ego.
It wasn’t just his Harvard-trained supervisor or him being mentored by Nobel prize winning scientists.
It was his scientific approach to fitness. It worked for everyone, no matter the age.
When I combined this diet with Doc’s approach to strength training…
I wasn’t just making gains… I was making gains continuously.
I could see the difference in the mirror week after week.
My abs were starting to show for the first time in decades.
And I was building my physique without doing any cardio - all while still eating my favorite foods.
My strength has gone through the roof and my family and friends can hardly believe my transformation.
And now I finally have that feeling of masculine power that I had lost.
And my wife, let’s just say she’s fully satisfied with the new me 😉
She now looks at me like she used to.
It's our honeymoon all over again.
I just have one regret.
I wish I had found the book years ago.
It would’ve saved me so much time, money and energy.
But I’m still very grateful.
