The New Moon in Leo is not your run of the mill new moon. It's a cosmic roar calling you back to your heart’s truth. With the Moon at 2° Leo opposing Pluto in retrograde, we’re invited to confront power dynamics, shed outdated identities, and rebirth our authentic selves. This is transformation with a fire sign flavor...dramatic, empowering, and deeply personal. But, ya gotta watch yourself with this one, that Leo fire can light up a room, but when it's raging, it will burn your house down. Stay out of that ego, drop into your heart, and avoid the drama that is unfolding collectively.

During a New Moon, the Moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun, briefly blocking the Sun’s light and making it invisible from our view. This sacred pause is known as the dark of the moon, where the divine feminine...intuition, feeling, and inner knowing...eclipses the divine masculine. Think clarity, action, and drive. It’s typically a time to plant seeds of intention, but this New Moon carries a different energy, (Leo doesn't like its light blocked!), one of inner revision rather than outer initiation. It asks not what do you want to grow, but what needs to be uprooted so your truth can thrive?

With five planets retrograde, Mercury, Neptune, Saturn, Pluto, and Chiron, this lunation is steeped in introspection. We’re invited to refine our voice (Mercury), realign our dreams (Neptune), reassess structure (Saturn), transform buried patterns (Pluto), and confront old wounds (Chiron). It’s not a time for your close-up (unless it's inner) it’s a time to clear the stage, reset the lights, and get right with your own soul before the next act begins.
