This is my old fretless, in its first incarnation it belonged to my cousin who’s life was cut short in a freak traffic accident near Halloween when i was in my teens. I feel his quirkiness in the instrument, it goes out of tune every 5 minutes, and the electronics are original which lots of random pops and crackles. I think it was originally from Sears and came with an amp that looked very much like a box fan. I fried the amp due to the fact I played metal back then. I painted the body, replaced the metal pick guard, and added a fretless neck; the neck up until today was crooked and almost made the axe unplayable. I shimmed the neck today and the action is great I think I could play it more than I ever have now.
