Thank you to the Third Rock Ventures team for partnering with Life Science Cares this fall to support HealthRIGHT 360 and Science from Scientists!

Their team assembled 100 winter hygiene kits with beanies, gloves, neck warmers, and essential hygiene items to help neighbors experiencing homelessness stay warm as the colder months set in. They also assembled 70 engineering lesson kits for students served by Science from Scientists, helping expand access to hands-on STEM learning.

We’re so grateful for Third Rock Ventures’ continued partnership and ongoing commitment to our community and STEM education.

Thank you to the incredible team at Terremoto Biosciences for assembling 200 backpacks in support of Breakthrough SF students!

Each student received a backpack filled with school supplies plus a specially selected book to spark a love of reading and support literacy throughout the school year.

As part of this year’s Back-to-School Collective Action Campaign, Terremoto Biosciences joined many life science companies in supporting Bay Area students. Thank you for helping students start strong this fall and for your continued commitment to giving back.

Thank you to Dispatch Bio for partnering with Life Science Cares in both the Bay Area and Philadelphia for a hands-on volunteer day.

In San Francisco, the team assembled 200 Cancer Comfort Kits and added a personal note to each. Filled with simple comforts like peppermint tea, activity books, eye masks, and warm socks, the kits will be shared with families staying at Family House, a home away from home for children facing serious medical conditions.

In Philadelphia, the team assembled 400 additional kits for local community members. Visit Life Science Cares Philadelphia for the full recap.

Thank you, Dispatch Bio, for turning mission into care for patients and caregivers in our communities.

Empowering Future Leaders in Life Sciences!

The Project Onramp Bay Area team had the privilege of attending the Vida Valiente Foundation Leadership Offsite, hosted by our incredible student success partner, Vida Valiente.

The event brought together 170 VVF scholars for a full day of learning and growth — diving into powerful topics like navigating workplace dynamics and overcoming imposter syndrome.

We were honored to share the mission and values of Life Science Cares — to harness the power of the life sciences industry to fight poverty and expand opportunity — and introduce students to our signature internship program, Project Onramp, which creates access to life-changing paid internships in the life sciences industry for first-generation college students.

We also shared practical tips to help students get ready for the upcoming Summer 2026 recruitment season, and we left inspired by their energy, curiosity, and determination.

A huge thank you to Vida Valiente and all the amazing VVF students for your partnership and engagement. We’re excited to continue connecting you with transformative opportunities in the life sciences!
