The Maples are in the ground! The Cedars were cut down because they were dying (and because the latest ordinance here in Sonoma County is to cut down any fire fuel-type trees). It has been difficult without those beautiful Cedars and although I am only a tenant, I do have the responsibility of caring for the yard. So I decided to plant new trees.
