Straight Out the Studio (SOS) is a San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley based still and motion picture design studio with a focus on high-fashion, weddings, fashion shoots, special events and narrative films. SOS was formed by James Lazaro Rumohr (Jimx2 Productions) and Michael Balke (MB Studio) in August 2012, and fully initiated in January 2013. Providing service and crew to a wide range of Bay Area businesses, including San Francisco’s Meisner Technique Studio, March of Dimes, and UCSF’s Health Improvement Partnership (SF-HIP). Rumohr and Balke both holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production from the Art Institute of California – San Francisco. Most importantly, the guys loves to work hard and have fun, shoots are joyful and memorable rather intimidating. Book a service now, and let the fun memories begin and last!
