Nadi Shodana is a type of alternate nostril breathing. Ideal for first thing in the morning, it is known to be energizing, balancing, clearing. To practice this:

1. Take the first 2 fingers of your right hand and either fold them in or place them on your 3rd eye.
2. Place your ring finger and thumb gently on each nostril.
3. Take a deep breath in.
4. Before exhaling, close the ring finger against the left nostril.
5. Exhale out the right nostril.
6. Keeping the left nostril closed, Inhale through the right side.
7. Close the right side with your thumb; exhale out the left side.
8. Inhale left side...exhale right.

Continue breath like this, switching sides before each exhale (ie. inhale right, exhale left, inhale left, exhale right). After 3-5 minutes, release your hand and breathe deeply for another 1-2 minutes.

It's no secret that our favorite self care tool is therapeutic massage. Our massage therapist Damien is skilled in offering effective, deep relaxation.

"I tend to work with a slower, deeper approach to the body to help the clients’ nervous system release more fully and ultimately help create a feeling of safety. I love the work I do. I think of it as a form of meditation.”

"They can take all of my money... all of it! The price is perfect for the calming ambience, quality service and genuine attentiveness you will be receiving. From the essential oils in the air, to the visually appealing and calming decor, 'Earthbody' takes you on a journey as soon as you walk in.

They cultivate this experience throughout your time spent enjoying whatever service you signed up for and culminate it with a beautiful serving of hot tea, water and a warm oil infused towel provided towards the end. I highly recommend this space and its services!!" 🌹☕🙏

Tonglen is a Tibetan word that means sending and taking. This practice is about working directly with our habit to avoid suffering and seek pleasure.

We breathe in with the desire to completely embrace difficult experiences ~ to feel it, accept it, and own it, free of any resistance.
How to Perform Tonglen:
1- Rest your mind in a space of openness and stillness.

2- Work with a quality. Breathe in an image of something hot, heavy, dark, or burdened. Breathe out an image of something bright, cool, soft or joyful. Work with your entire body to breathe in and out.

3- Bring to mind a painful situation or a suffering person. Continue giving and taking with the breath. Inhale pain to your heart center. Exhale brilliant, bright joy.

4- Now, widen your reach to include anyone else in the same situation. All people everywhere who may also being feeling this pain. Breathe in their sadness. Exhale love.
