Let’s keep the communication here!! I just spoke at a showcase and definitely reflected a lot over PEACH. I mentioned how PEACH was such a great community and people here formed great bonds with each other. Let’s keep it that way. If you’re still connected with FB don’t let this avenue die. You see something interesting for others to read or job/internship opportunities.... list them here. I hope we can do another summer get together to catch up.
Love you all.

It’s STD Awareness Month, so this week we’re sharing information about STD testing. Like and share if you plan to take this week’s challenge! #STDMonth16

April is STI Awareness Month!
Remember to get tested and Check Yo' Self!
> Getting tested is one of the most important things you can do for your health to prevent STIs.
> S*xually active young adults ages 15-24 are at a higher risk for contracting STIs.
> Getting tested is the only way to know for sure if you have an STI, as many don't show symptoms.
> If an STI is detected in a timely manner, most can be treated effectively.

Happy Inters*x Awareness Day!

S*x is one way that society has chosen as a marker for both de jure and de facto segregation of people into "easily identifiable" categories, creating a binary that correlates with its construction of cisgender. However, s*x is not as black and white as male and female, just as gender is not simply man and woman. For those who fall somewhere in the middle, the term Inters*x can be applied. It is NEVER ok to call some one a hermaphrodite--the term is outdated and its connotations are offensive.

Why 'No Bra Day' Is So Problematic, As Explained By Twitter

Remember: Yes, it is National Feel Your Bo***es Week. Yes, this is a lighthearted reminder to do self exams. But it is important to remember that the goal of early breast cancer detection is not to "Save the Tatas", it's to save a life.
Not to mention, "No Bra Day" leaves men (who can also develop breasst cancer) out of the conversation. "Not wearing a bra does not save lives."
