Orijyn http://www.orijyn.com Orijyn was founded by Mark Sloneker after meeting Sombath, the founder of Padetc, a non profit school in Laos.

Orijyn's mission is to help preserve traditional Lao handcrafts that could disappear in a generation and provide new opportunities for revenue, healthcare and microloans for rural communities. After teaching basic business and marketing classes at the school, he set up a Orijyn, to teach sustainable business practices and help bring to market and preserve some of Lao's exquisite traditional handcrafts. He worked with the silversmiths and his wife, Julie worked with Saoban on the silk pieces.
