I turned 51 in June, and I feel excited about this next chapter of my life. I’ve just published two amazing Oracle decks, I’m writing my book, and my third Oracle deck is already in the works. OMGoddess, life just keeps getting richer and richer!

I’m also back at Victoria University, finally completing the Psychology degree I began in my early twenties. It truly feels like I’m just getting started with this beautiful new chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.

Looking back:
My 20s were about discovering who I am and falling in love—first with my soulmate, my husband, and also with myself.
My 30s were about falling deeply, madly in love with my children and learning how to be a mom.
My 40s were all about being the very best mother and wife I could be, living on a farm, and tending to my own garden. So much healing happened during this deeply spiritual journey.
And now, my 50s are about creative expression and mastery.

This decade feels like it’s going to be powerful! I can’t wait to see what unfolds and reveals itself in all the multi-faceted expressions of who I am becoming!

We are so often taught to believe that once we are older women, our worth is tied only to being a mom, a wife, or a caretaker, and that, at some stage, we simply “go to seed,” as if we no longer hold value. We’re told that middle-age spread is inevitable and something we just have to accept.

I’ve been deeply inspired by powerful female leaders like Louise Hay, who showed us what’s possible.

I have decided I will not fall into the trap of outdated beliefs that hold women down. I will go my own way. I will defy gravity. I will live my life on purpose, fully and unapologetically. That is what keeps my spirit young, vibrant, and alive!

Aging is, of course, an inevitable part of the human journey—but for me, it has become a spiritual practice of acceptance, grace, and gratitude. With this rite of passage comes the precious gift of wisdom. I am becoming a woman of wisdom, and the seeds I share with the world have been earned.

I know my value only continues to rise.
Women of wisdom, let’s keep spreading the word. Let’s keep inspiring and empowering one another!
