Things that make me go 🤔 HMMMM....Sādhanā (Sanskrit साधना; Tibetan: སྒྲུབ་ཐབས་, THL: druptap; Chinese: 修行; pinyin: xiūxíng), literally means "methodical discipline to attain desired knowledge or goal" .
To reach a goal one must practice daily. What do you practice? Though contemporary spiritual teacher and yogi, Jaggi Vasudev, defines sādhanā as

“Everything can be sādhanā. The way you eat, the way you sit, the way you stand, the way you breathe, the way you conduct your body, mind and your energies and emotions – this is sādhanā. Sādhanā does not mean any specific kind of activity, sādhanā means you are using everything as a tool for your wellbeing. “.... I wonder if it’s true? If so many of the things we do daily are done mindlessly without thought then is it truly sadhana? How can we bring mindfulness into daily activities?

So excited about my collaboration with Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center!!! 🌊🌊🌊Pre-pandemic since 2017 I was teaching a healthy plant-based cooking class & chair yoga at the all Black senior centre In Hunter’s Point San Francisco. I really miss all of my friends there and as we have seen this pandemic has affected our elders and wise ones way more than we will ever know 🩹👩🏾‍🚀💗🕵🏾‍♀️My goal is to create a safe space to heal, connect and warm hearts through the art of storytelling. I created the six part workshop online for our beloved Seniors to share their important thoughts & reflections on their lives. This is bound to be a wild ride.... i’ll keep you posted in the gems of wisdom they will be sharing along the way💎💎💎💎💎✨✨✨✨✨

Personal and what is not.
