The last year I have had the joy of working for capturing families, high school seniors, babies and pregnancy shoots.

Sunset or sunrise on the beach capturing meaningful memories of these beautiful people could not feel more aligned.

WOMAN TO WATCH: Liz Tenuto aka The Workout Witch

Grounded, generous, and the embodiment of the calm that she so thoughtfully teaches practices for others to have for themselves, is one of those rare women who discovered how to transmute the hardest aspects of her personal history and experience into far-reaching healing gold.

Equal parts esoteric and academic, witchy and intellectual, I'm at a loss to name any other somatic teacher who so honestly approaches sharing easeful, accessible practices than cut deep to the heart of past trauma and allow for a way through.

With the exponential growth and success of her platform , it is no surprise that when a major publisher took note of the growing desire for a true somatic practitioner's expertise on the market, they tapped Liz to be the guiding light.

Last month I did something monumental.

Together with 2 sisters, a girlfriend and a niece, I trekked The Dolomites. Picture - day after day, mile upon mile of rolling flower-filled meadows against striking grey mountain peaks with a steady-flow of Italian food, coffee and an evening culture of Scandinavian sauna. It was so beyond my wildest imagination and if you are wanting details, lmk I’d love to share them

But it wasn't the trek that was monumental. It was that a "trek through the Dolomites'" was the LAST thing I had on my bucket list. On the precipice of turning 50, I have officially checked all the boxes;
Become a successful photographer with a full schedule of ideal clients ✔️
Explore the World and bonus if you get paid to do it (I will never get over telling people I’ve had shoots in 14 different countries and 28 states) ✔️
Build a tight network of deeply intimate friends who I admire and trust when my own trustability is at question ✔️
Spend so much time in Paris it feels like a second home ✔️
Have a beautiful home all my own in San Francisco ✔️

and of course, it gets more specific but you get the picture, all the big dreams have been checked.

So NOW, now I'm in that beautiful space of starting to dream new dreams and damn does it feel simultaneously spacious and maybe a little confronting.

Contemplating what I want from the next 20 years has brought me to three words; prosperity, ease, fulfillment.

That is the part that feels spacious, now the how of it all is tbd and that is confronting.

More soon, but for now. Oh Dolomites, you did NOT disappoint.
