✖️Don’t fall for it

No person or program should convince you that YOU are the problem.

Whether it’s your overeating, b!nge eating, stress eating, or mindless eating

your willpower, discipline, or self-control have nothing to do with it 🤍

You simply need a process and set of tools that set you up for success

by getting to the root of your behaviors (without judgement) and create new ones that actually serve you and make you feel amazing

Because you deserve nothing less.

Instagram can seem like a highlight reel of only the most polished content 💭

but I always want to be real with you all, too.

Life feels like a constant balancing act these days, but I continue to catch myself and reframe potentially stressful thoughts into:

🌱 I have a husband and babies I’ve dreamed of. YES being a parent is hard and tiring (I only slept 4 hours last night) BUT it’s the most fulfilling and joyful adventure I could have ever imagined.

🌱 I have a business that I’m insanely passionate about and feel proud of. I could have stayed at Meta’s wellness center but felt called to take the leap to build my private practice (+ I love it so much).

It obviously comes with highs and lows, but having the priveledge to coach the incredible clients I get to, truly makes me feel alive ⚡

✨ Whatever hard thing you are navigating, just know others in your world are likely navigating something similar.

• keep breathing
• cheering yourself on along the way
• be kind toward yourself
• practice gratitude for all your body and mind do you for you each day
• and be extra compassionate with yourself with things feel hard

You've got this 🫶🏼

If your scale is adding more STRESS than good

And may actually be causing you to be MORE inconsistent with your eating or movement habits 👇🏼

💭 'The scale is higher than I thought it'd be, what's the point of exercising or eating nourishing food?'

It's time to reevaluate your relationship with it

Your progress shouldn't be minimized to a number on a scale 🤍

💭It’s SO easy to get caught up in a whirlwind of negative thoughts, accepting them as truths.

🌱But here’s the thing, YOU are the boss of which thoughts and beliefs you give weight to, and which you leave behind.

👋🏼If the doubt and criticism just isn’t working for you anymore, It’s time you give yourself a chance at treating yourself with a little more love:

1️⃣ Practice awareness:
Start by simply noticing when negative thoughts arise. Pay attention to the way you speak to yourself and the stories you tell in your mind. Be gentle with yourself as you observe without judgment.

2️⃣ Challenge your inner critic:
When you catch yourself engaging in negative self-talk, gently challenge those thoughts. Ask yourself:

“Is this really true?”
“Do I actually believe this?”
“Are these thoughts bringing me slower or further away from my true self?”

3️⃣ Cultivate self-compassion:
As a recovering perfectionist, I knowww how hard it can be to practice self-compassion. But just like any other muscle we get to exercise, retraining your mind through daily affirmations, acts of self-care, and surrounding yourself with supportive people are lovely steps in the right direction.

It’s incredible to think about how YOU are in charge of the scripts you write.

When you own that, it’s amazing to see how your eating habits, self-care, mood, and relationship with food and your body shift for the better

Do you have a daily mind ‘exercise’ that’s worked for you? Would love to hear it below!
