Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (ASCA) is an international network of peer support groups created and trained under the auspices of
The Norma J. Morris Center for healing from child abuse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Conducted by survivors for survivors, the groups provide a safe space for adults who were abused physically, emotionally, verbally and sexually to come together to share their stories and healing journeys. Under our philosophy, we believe that we can heal from the devastating wounds caused by trauma. ASCA offers a 21-step recovery program designed to help survivors become thrivers that can be worked on individually and with a therapist. For the many survivors in other forms of recovery, the program is complementary to 12-step programs. For more information and to download free materials such as the Survivor to Thriver Manual, please visit the main ASCA web site.
