This weekend SYNC visited Eastern Park Apartments to educate the elderly resident about benefits of their Denti-Cal membership, and gave them information on how to become patients are UCSF. SYNC members also performed Christmas carols for the residents. The grandparents were very happy to see us. :)

Hello everyone,

Symphony In Clinic (SYNC) will be having its first volunteering event of the quarter on Saturday 11/14 from 12:30pm-3pm! We will be heading over to Eastern Park Apartment (711 Eddy Street).

The event consists of 2 parts: 1) a musical performance session, and 2) an oral health education session (including periodontal health). If you would like to help with either of the sessions, please sign-up on the Google doc here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1DM9QMLzsC4kQf6BICZ8Eo1AyMWuYsYbBWuE3LPOF3X4/viewform?usp=send_form.

If you would like to perform in an ensemble, please message us (SYNC@ucsf.edu)with your preference for the type of ensemble arrangement (ex. piano/instrumental duet, guitar/vocal duet, etc).

Hey Everyone!

Please join us tomorrow for the Symphony in Clinic Info Session!!
We are a dental student-run RCO dedicated to providing the elderly and any at-risk communities with some soothing musical performances and oral health educational sessions.

When? Tuesday October 13 @ 12pm

Food will be provided!

Have a passion for music? Or simply want a fun way to de-stress from school, yet still provide meaningful service to the community? ALL are welcome to join~~ (you DO NOT have to be musically talented :] )

We are also looking for a few dedicated individuals to join our board so be sure to stop by and see how you can become more involved!
