🌿 Have you ever felt emotionally drained, foggy, and overstimulated—even after doing “nothing”?
You’re not alone. I see this every day in my therapy practice.
After working with hundreds of clients over the years, I began to recognize a pattern I now call Overstimulation Syndrome—a state of mental, emotional, and physical overwhelm caused by our fast-moving, screen-heavy, always-on world.
It's not a clinical diagnosis. It's just real.
And here’s the hard truth:
🧠 We can’t keep waiting until the weekend to feel human again.
Our nervous systems need daily care—just like our bodies, our minds, and our hearts.
I recently wrote a new article about how to gently recover from this daily overstimulation with simple, doable practices like:
☀️ morning light
🍃 short nature walks
🌬 Mindful breathing
🤍 emotional check-ins
📵 creating digital boundaries
🌀 somatic tools to come back to yourself
I also share insights from my book, The Journey to Self, which offers a foundation for emotional intelligence, healing, and self-love—through both science and soul.
If you or someone you care about has been feeling overstimulated, scattered, or burnt out, I hope this article offers a breath of relief.
