We are overjoyed to welcome Maizi to our Aveanna family just in time for his first birthday!

At Aveanna, the start of the new school year is a family affair for many of the patients we serve. We're so excited for this special day for Aveanna patient Delilah and her family!

Delilah has received care from Aveanna since 2022. With her trach and G-tube, she needs a little extra support throughout the day. Thanks to her in-school nursing care, she's able to learn, grow, and experience school just like any other student!

Aveanna patient Emmory has received private duty nursing services for a little over a year. Her care team's partnership with her family gives her the support she needs to thrive right at home, where she feels safest and most loved.

Emmory has both a tracheostomy and a g-tube, which require skilled, compassionate care around the clock. Thanks to her incredible Aveanna nurses, she’s able to enjoy her days doing what she loves!

Sarah has been part of the Aveanna family since 2013. She lives at home with her brother, who also has SMA, and their mom. During Spinal Muscular Atrophy Awareness Month, we honor individuals like Sarah and her brother for their unique perspective, their courage, and their optimism in the face of challenges.

Lucas has been part of our Aveanna family since he was 2 years old, and he recently started middle school!

When Lucas began receiving care at Aveanna, he had a Central Venous Line (CVL), a G-tube, and a J-tube. Now, he only has a G-tube! As he continues to make strides in his health journey, our Aveanna team is honored to be by his side to ensure he feels confident, safe, and supported in whatever he does as his middle school journey begins.
