The original caption read Thick Thighs save lives however in my heart I felt it important to point out the lie we believe when it comes to Ig vs. reality. So many times we get caught up comparing our behind the scenes 🎥 with someone’s else’s highlights 🎞 that we forget how amazing ours lives actually are! But we can change that cause girlfriend I’m guilt of that too! ✋🏼 STOP believing that you aren’t good enough, that you aren’t pretty enough, skinny enough or that maybe if you change who you are he will like you more! Just stop 🛑 Life is not perfect and neither are you nor me. So I’m learning to accept myself, my body and where I am in life by following these three steps to bettering myself….

1. Stop comparing yourself to other people and the person you think your supposed to be.
2. Surround yourself with positivity! You become what you surround yourself with.
3. Figure out what makes YOU happy 😊

Would you guess this? In high school, I was on our youth groups sign language choir with my best friend Natalie? We toured all over California with our Youth group and would minister through Sign Language. Surprising, right?! Not so surprisingly, that part of my younger self probably explains why I enjoy playing worship music on my commute to and from work trying to recall the words in sign language form.

When life gets crazy, what brings things back into focus? Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed and somewhat scattered. I can not wait for my kids to be done with school and for summer to begin! It can be a lot to deal with, so I continue to remind myself why I’m here. I started this business to provide for my beautiful family, and that is exactly what I’m doing.
