Renewal doesn’t look the same for everyone.

For some, it looks like rest.
For others, it looks like courage.
For some, it’s healing…
And for others, it’s simply choosing to keep going.

God’s promise of new things doesn’t come with a single definition or timeline. It meets us personally, gently, right where we are.

So today, let’s hold space for one another.

What does renewal look like for you in this season?

Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that God is doing a new thing, even when we don’t perceive it yet.

New beginnings don’t always arrive with clarity or confidence. Often, they start in quiet places: a softened heart, a renewed sense of hope, a willingness to try again.

If you’re in a season where things feel unclear or unfinished, don’t assume nothing is happening. God’s promises don’t depend on our ability to see the outcome.

Pause today and ask: What new thing might God be beginning in me, even now?

I didn’t always believe in small beginnings.

Early in my healing journey, I thought healing was something I had to accomplish on my own. So when I experienced setbacks, moments where it felt like I had to start over, I carried a lot of shame. I thought it meant I had failed.

What I’ve learned through my own trauma healing work, and now through the groups I lead, is that healing doesn’t move in a straight line. We don’t go neatly from hurt to healing.

New beginnings come through faith — believing there is hope.
Through community — having safe people to walk with you.
And through purpose — trusting that God will do something meaningful with this pain and this journey.

That’s why I believe in small beginnings.
They are not failures.
They are often the very place healing begins.

Easter is the foundation of our hope.

Because Jesus rose, we are not defined by what feels broken, lost, or unfinished.

The resurrection reminds us:
💛 That God brings life out of places that look like endings.
💛 That hope is never wasted.
💛 That renewal is always possible.

This is why we celebrate.
Not just a moment in history, but a living hope that still meets us today.

Wherever you find yourself this Easter, may you be reminded:
New beginnings are possible because He lives.

04/04/2026

Easter is more than a tradition we remember; it’s a hope we live from.

We celebrate Easter because Jesus didn’t stay in the grave.
Because death didn’t get the final word.
We celebrate because renewal is not just possible, it’s promised.

The resurrection reminds us that God specializes in bringing life out of places that once felt finished. Hope out of despair. New beginnings out of difficult endings.

This is why Heart to Art Collective exists to show healing is possible and renewal is real.
Because Jesus still makes all things new, including us.

If you’re stepping into this weekend carrying heaviness, may the hope of the resurrection of Jesus meet you gently right where you are.

April is an invitation to begin again. 🌱

If life has felt dry, uncertain, or heavy lately, this promise is for you. God is not absent in the wilderness. He’s creating pathways you couldn’t see before and growing new life where you thought nothing could bloom.

New beginnings don’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes they show up quietly… as a breath of hope, a softened heart, or a gentle nudge forward.

Pause today and ask yourself: What might God be renewing in me right now?

Working behind the scenes on April’s newsletter today 🤍

This little corner of my work is where I get to share more reflections on faith, mental health, creativity, and what I’m learning in my own healing journey.

If you’ve ever wanted a quieter space to receive encouragement from me, this is it.

The next one goes out on April 7th.

As this month comes to a close, take a moment to reflect:
Where did you notice God’s grace meeting you in your weakness?

There’s no right or wrong answer, just awareness.
And sometimes, that’s where healing begins.

For a long time, I thought faith meant I needed to heal faster, be stronger, have the right perspective, move on already.

But I’ve learned that faith doesn’t rush healing.

For me, faith doesn’t mean having all the answers.
It means having somewhere to rest when my strength runs out.
It means bringing my fragile, overwhelmed, still-processing heart to God, without pretending I’m further along than I am.

Some days, that looks like prayer.
Some days, that looks like therapy.
Some days, that looks like simply choosing to be gentle with myself.

Faith and mental health aren’t separate for me.
They meet in how I care for myself, slowly, honestly, and without shame.

What would it look like for you to let your healing unfold at its own pace instead of rushing it?

These are some of the most common fears I hear before workshops.

You don’t need confidence.
You don’t need experience.
You just need to show up.
