Confusing rulings seem not based on health. Why remove requirements to label artificial dyes except petroleum based dyes? Many artificial dyes, have proven to affect immune system, hormones and more. I’m disappointed with this decision.

Food makers will now be able to claim that their products have “no artificial colors,” so long as they use dyes that are not petroleum based.

With such an increase in colon cancer, and having lost a dear friend to it, here is a short list that may help us avoid it. Even young people will do well to read this. Sugary drinks (hello boba, energy drinks and sweetened coffees) can contribute to a less healthy colon.

All five of these habits are associated with an increased risk of colorectal cancer among younger people in their 20s, 30s and 40s.
