Made more polymer clay cabachons for my bead embroidery. I’m still new at this, experimenting and perfecting my skill. The 1st “cab” is my replication of Mexican pottery. The 2nd reminds me of the sunset in Arizona ( may bead this for a special person). The 3rd is a nopales cactus with the cactus pear fruit. I might make another with a reddish background. And the last with purple and yellow roses. Everything is hand sculpted. I did not use cutter shapes. The roses are also hand sculpted. I don’t know if I should bead embroidered these for pins or pendant necklaces. I am open to your thoughts on these.

Bought this stone cabochon at a bead store in Arizona. It was an unusual mix of stone chips but it called to me. I bought some seed beads and a strand of Carnelian stone beads. I also made some polymer clay beads to kinda of mimic the cabochon and another bigger bead for the toggle. I learned to make the toggle connection watching YouTube videos. Here it is all done.

Here are the beads I made. I usually sculpt with my polymer clay (Fairy houses, Ornaments), decided to try my hand in making beads and cabochons for my bead embroidery. Beads and stone cabochons are expensive. I’ve been watching many polymer clay bead artist ( .artist, , Teresa Selgado, , Donna Kato and many more). I think I need more practice in making flower canes, Natasha beads,and cabochons. I even tried “clay” embroidery. That’s the 3 red ones with yellow roses a small white flowers. Those I’ll make into earrings and a pendant. Thanks to the many polymer clay artist I learned from and to the polymer clay community.

Made this collapsible money gift box for each teenager I’m giving a gift to. Teenagers are difficult to buy for but every teen loves money. I used pre-made boxes from Dollar Tree. Each side has a pocket to put money into. I glued a Reese’s and Kisses tree in the middle of the center box.
