dear folks, anyone can take part in this worldwide experiment. as we say: everyone, everywhere, worldwide. "crowd size" doesn't matter! LOL just do your thing and make sure it is documented. I have always wanted to do a solo 100tpc after organizing for so many years, so here ya go. the results will be posted soon. not sure why but the AI filter put a shirt on me. I don't wear a shirt in the bath!

HERE'S WHAT WE CAN DO. We can gather in small or large groups of like-minded individuals. We can invite more of them and build up a global event over the years, each of us learning to share and behave ourselves justly.

We can write and publish about it. We can talk to others and volunteer to cooperate and contribute to the event. An event can include a town, a state, just friends, or one person, writing poems in the sand or up in the clouds, as long as it is documented.

We can put our ego aside for a moment, or release our need for personal gain, and hold one evening, shared with our local neighbors and our global neighbors, dedicated to conversation, music and performance, with one idea in common: the old guard ways of violence and exploitation are no longer operable or effective for our future.

Dear *Poets* and *Poetry Lovers*, Will you read a poem to a child on September 23-28 as part of the 100 Thousand Poets for Change Global initiative "Read A Poem To A Child?"

This is an especially an important year to highlight the significance of children in the world. We are increasingly aware of their fragility. It is time to take a moment in this busy, crazy life we live, and share something we cherish. Poetry is our gift.

Last year we had over 2,000 individuals and organizations sign on to participate. Michael Rothenberg, co-founder of Read A Poem To A Child hopes to increase that participation.
