Concrete was poured, sparks were flying and future builders got behind the controls of a mini excavator👷🚧🔨

Last weekend, we welcomed 70 high school students to our 7th annual STEMstruction event, our biggest one yet, with students joining us from 35 high schools across Southern California.

From welding and power tools to hands-on construction activities, students got a real taste of what careers in the design and construction industry can look like. And yes… there were plenty of smiles, teamwork and “I can’t believe I just did that!” moments along the way.

Our mission is to introduce students to opportunities they may have never considered and help them leave feeling confident, inspired and proud of what they accomplished.

We joined our project partners at Granger Construction Company for a Heart Hats event benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Together, our teams spread 12 yards of playground mulch and 6 yards of landscaping mulch across the playground, memory garden and flower beds, helping create a more welcoming space for families staying at Ronald McDonald House.

As we work with Michigan State University on critical campus energy infrastructure, it’s just as important to show up beyond the jobsite. We’re proud to partner with MSU and Granger to make a difference in the community, too. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make it happen.

As we break ground on Creighton School District's Biltmore Preparatory Academy, we celebrate a significant milestone for the students, families and educators who have shaped this community in the heart of Phoenix.

With design from SPS+ Architects the newly reimagined campus will celebrate BPA's identity as a dual immersion school, with spaces that reflect how students learn, create and collaborate in both Spanish and English.

Set to welcome students before the 2027-2028 school year, we’re excited to help bring this next chapter to life as we support the BPA Tigers' continued learning throughout the course of the project. 🐯

Last week, our teams nationwide celebrated Construction Safety Week across projects with educational and engaging activities that inspired crews to approach safety risks with a renewed commitment. 🦺

Through hands-on safety demonstrations and toolbox talks, project teams connected in ways that best represented potential risks at each jobsite.

While Construction Safety Week may be over, safety is a daily commitment, and we appreciate our project teams for incorporating this mindset into everything they do. 🤝

Last week in San Antonio, we joined industry leaders at Texas Water 2026. Hosted by The Water Environment Association of Texas and Texas AWWA, the event brought together the water and wastewater community to share ideas, explore new technologies and move the industry forward. 🤝

From exploring the latest in treatment technology to connecting with operators, engineers, manufacturers, and partners across the industry, it was a week centered around collaboration and progress.

We were especially proud to see Sarah Espinosa share insights as a panelist on a progressive design-build approach for the BAWA East Water Treatment Plant. 💧
