Many of us are feeling stressed, overwhelmed and anxious right now. There are simple and effective ways to help your body switch from “fight or flight” to “rest and relax”.
For 5 minutes try to peel yourself away from the news and try one of these 3 simple exercises.

1️⃣ Breathing Intentionally
Deep, intentional breathing sends signals to your brain that you are safe.

2️⃣ Ground Yourself
Grounding techniques help anchor you to the present moment and reduce racing thoughts.

3️⃣ Move Your Body (gently) 🚶
Gentle movement releases feel good hormones and reduces stress. Even better if you pair with soothing music or nature sounds.

I know it is impossible to escape the reality of what is happening right now. But you can take a few moments to take care of yourself. Even a few minutes a day can make a huge difference. 🙏
