At OnePercent for Education, we believe that all children deserve the opportunities, resources and supports they need to reach their full potential. We're a federally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working to make this a reality -- because we all have a stake in education! We identify and carefully evaluate educationally-focused nonprofit organizations and approve a select group as OnePercent for Education Nonprofit Partners. Businesses, foundations and individuals join with us as Member Donors who pledge OnePercent annually from a source of their choosing in direct support of our Nonprofit Partners. We’re creating more than a funding source for our Nonprofit Partners. OnePercent for Education encourages a Culture of Participation among its many Business, Foundation, Individual Members and Nonprofit Partners. Pledge OnePercent for Education! Our Story

At the time that Bob Rosenberg was leading a nonprofit that placed volunteers into public schools to work with low income and underserved youth he was also familiar with 1% for the Planet where businesses, individuals and foundations came together to support nonprofits concerned with the environment. Bob understood firsthand how schools and nonprofit organizations can create greater opportunities to achieve better educational outcomes that usually lead to better future economic outcomes. He thought that if we can bring businesses, individuals and foundations together to support educational nonprofits we could have a greater collective impact on the lives of youth in low income and under-sourced communities. This is how OnePercent for Education was born and aims to dramatically improve the education and economic outcomes for low income and underserved youth and their families.
