We had such a heartfelt one year anniversary party celebrating “One Lucky Year.” Our residents thoroughly enjoyed some casino fun, over the top scrumptious food and beautiful memories from our front and center slide show. Our residents enjoyed a fun- filled afternoon from a debate facilitator presentation to card playing in our Sports Lounge while others made one of a kind and unique Valentine's Day cards! 💘

We have an active group of high school students who come every month to share their love of art with our residents. Making soap together brought up lots of memories of taking chemistry and loving science. We also took in the beautiful, floral scents we used where our art studio could’ve easily been mistaken for a beautiful, spring garden!

Another example of residents supporting residents filling the room. Meet Anne, a civil engineer who has the expertise of working for large corporations and running a small business of her own. She shared her journey of working on San Francisco’s Emergency Water System, which has been a high priority for improvements since the 1906 Earthquake. Anne showed how we are so much more prepared with all these efforts.

Our veterans enjoyed a sneak preview of the local organization, Sentinel of Freedom, which helps military members rebuild their lives after the Vietnam era. Some individuals, now in their 40s, have received emotional and financial support for over 20 years and are thriving across a wide range of industries.

San Ramon Mayor, Mark Armstrong, is also a supporter of this remarkable organization and shared a brief update on community ongoings and encouraged a partnership between this veteran's group and our residents.
