Being around them always lightens my mood and chases anxiety and other negative emotions away. Most of us have heard the Winston Churchill quote that goes something like "the outside of a horse is good for the inside of a man." It actually goes deeper than that. It turns out the inside of a horse is good for us in many ways too. While going through the 2 year, trauma-informed certification process to become an Equine Gestaltist (TM), I learned more about their special gifts. I have learned that they do in fact possess an inherent intuitiveness and ability to change the energetic vibration of those around them. We owe a debt of gratitude to the Indigenous people who have shown us how embracing horses and their gifts can enrich our lives.

For many Indigenous tribes, horses hold deep spiritual and emotional significance approaching the sacred. They are revered as symbols of strength, resilience, and freedom, respected partners in life holding deep emotional intelligence that transcends the physical world.

Horses with their innate sensitivity to sound, scent, and body language are uniquely attuned to human emotions, but with a more profound and often spiritual dimension. This makes them ideal for Gestalt Coaching and other therapeutic modalities.

Our Scientific Study Shows the Efficacy of the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method®.

271 people from various regions, backgrounds, and populations were included in this study. And 98% of study respondents found their EGCM session beneficial enough to participate in another EGCM Session.

Findings demonstrated that there was an increase in the feelings of hopefulness and an improved sense of self-esteem and self-worth among the clients who participated in an EGCM session.

Spending some time with my favorite guys on Labor Day was just the ticket. As you can see they were licking their lips just waiting on some tasty treats. Someday I'll get to spend time with them every day, soaking up their energy, laughing at their antics, and of course, passing out more treats!
