TRUTH: I had the privilege of meeting Britton Purvis, also known as Nadya, over five years ago. Our inaugural collaboration was for the FEED THE HOMELESS initiative. In 2020, Britton attended Urban MO's event wearing a mask due to COVID-19 protocols and generously donated to our inaugural FEED THE HOMELESS event. Throughout the years, I have developed a professional and personal acquaintance with Britton, and it is evident that he gives selflessly without expectation of reciprocity. Whether in drag attire or casual wear, Britton's commitment to prioritizing the LGBTQAI+ communities is unwavering. This embodies the true essence of an empress. When casting your vote, prioritize the interests of the LGBTQAI+ communities.

Our Story

Vision:

VIDA is dedicated to resolving the HIV crisis within the Latinx community, where social stigma, poverty, language barriers, education, and access to care, deter testing and increase the infection rate. VIDA realizes its mission by promoting health & HIV education, building networks with community partner organizations and leaders, and advocacy and awareness to mobilize an effective community response to meet challenges and eradicate health disparities in our communities.

● Provide education to the Latino community on HIV transmission in English and Spanish.
