Earth Based Power Energy and Healing

Hidden for generations within the confines of the martial arts was the power form known as Moto-Ki. This Earth-based power form was not only used not only in combat, but also in healing. Students would often get injured during rigorous training sessions; their Masters would draw this Earth energy to heal them so they could continue. Often demonstrated, this energy form was forbidden to be taught in either the martial or healing aspects.

As time passed, the old Masters transitioned and the former Students have now become the Masters. This new group of teachers tasked themselves with waking up this innate power within those who seek. Some still include this method in their martial arts teachings as well as a healing modality.

Reiki, the ethereal energy draws from the universe and is used to activate the natural processes of the body to restore physical and emotional well-being. Moto-Ki draws powerful energy from the Earth and is used to immediately address traumatic injuries. Being Earth-based, Moto-Ki is known as a power form and is invasive compared to Reiki. This power form is very direct and almost instantaneous, which is why it was used in combat. Because of this, personal character and morals weighs heavy when seeking instruction in Moto-Ki.
