First Bonner County Baby of 2025! Welcome sweet Amelia Jane! She was received into the arms of her loving family at 6:53 AM on 1/1/25!

We are so grateful to offer a space for families to birth who desire to birth outside the hospital! This is the closest facility for this family to travel to for birth, and (fun fact) all 6 of their babies have been born here! We ushered 2025 in with this sweet birth and are excited to see what is to come for this year! Congratulations to this wonderful family! And thank you Lori Sabin @ Womancare Midwifery for graciously guiding this family through their birth experience! Happy New Year!

Welcome!

Excited to share a bit of who we are, why we are here, and how we can support you.

We are a collective of midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and passionate birth workers who believe in birth and want to support families on their journey through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It's such a beautiful thing.

We are the Sandpoint Community Birth Center. Located just moments from downtown in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. The space is wonderfully designed to support the birthing needs of families desiring to birth out of the hospital, in this home away from home. The birth center, over its lifespan, has served 100's of families as they welcome their babies earthside. We also provide a space for childbirth classes, support groups, and workshops!

So check us out! Contact a midwife! Join us at a meet and greet or women's circle! Let us pour you a cup of tea!
