🏐🏀🥎As a former 3 - Sport High School Athlete and a year around competitive Collegiate Ultimate Frisbee player, fitness was basically built into my lifestyle. 🥏

After graduating college, my body started to feel different, as I didn't have a specific sport to keep me in shape all year long.

🇯🇲 About 1.5years after my college graduation, I moved to a remote location in Jamaica that didn't quite have internet just yet.

No sports, no internet...how was I going to keep my body from bloating, losing bone density, starting to tighten up, etc..? I mean.. my daily bike rides to and from the school I taught at could only get me so far. I needed more fitness.

✈️Over the next few years I would do different workout videos of Shaun T and Jillian Michaels. I kept moving around from state to state, working on cruise ships, and moving literally across the entire world to China.

Throughout these times, it was difficult to keep a specific gym/workout routine. Sometimes I was "on" and sometimes it would be months between workouts. 😫

☯️The point of this story: I know what it's like to be a former athlete (knowing what my body used to be able to do), and have my body operate differently now that I'm in my mid 30s.

Countless times I've had to "get back into the game," with each time my body being different than it was before. I'm not in my 20's anymore and my body definitely reminds me of that daily.

🤙 But I can still workout, build muscle, and feel good in my ever changing body/hormones.

glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). Produced in the small intestine, GLP-1 stimulates the pancreas to release insulin when we eat. Insulin helps cells take up glucose from the bloodstream, preventing blood sugar spikes. GLP-1 also promotes feelings of fullness and slows down the rate at which food leaves the stomach.

67% of this abuse came from North America. We're supposed to be leaders. This breaks my heart. Professional Female Athletes just want to play the game they grew up playing. 🐕Tito here again. You know, when my humans first got the Furbo, I wasn't really into it. It threw treats when they weren't home, but my annoying little brother always ran to them.

Eventually, I gave up. The Furbo was only for Maverick. 🍪

I stopped taking an interest in the Furbo for MONTHS. But then something AMAZING HAPPENED‼️

One of my humans put THE MOST DELICIOUS TREATS in the Furbo!🤤🤤🤤

While my human was home, she showed me the Furno, again and OH.MY.DOG BONES!!

♥️ I had so much fun eating the treats out of that thing! They just kept going! Of course, my human had to hold my little brother back a couple times (he's a bit more practiced in this game than me), but it sure was fun!

🐕I am so thankful that my human re-introduced this fun treat throwing device to me again!

If you want to lose fat, there are a couple supplements that can help you.

🧐Let me explain:

Caffeine has been proven to speed up fat loss. That said, it might not be the healthiest choice.

More than anything else though, if you want to lose fat then you need to be in a Caloric deficit that includes lots of protein. If you cannot get enough protein with food, then add in a protein powder. Aim for an absolute minimum of 0.82g/lb, so if you’re 200lbs, that’s 164g of protein daily.

Lastly, you want to know a great “supplement” for fat loss?

🏋🏻‍♀️️Hard work. 💪🏽

That means sprints and weight training. 🏋🏿‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

Nothing helps you lose fat better than weight training. Take out weight training, and you will lose WEIGHT. In order to lose as much fat as possible, you need to hang onto your muscle, and that’s where weight training comes in. The sprints will help elevate your metabolism.💓

1.3 million Cesarean section surgeries performed in the US each year, and most mothers are taught very little about how to care for their body — or their incision site — after birth.⁠

The prevailing “you can return to exercise after six weeks” clearance is often used. This assumes the incision is closed and well healed, which isn’t necessarily true!⁠

In fact, anywhere from 6–18% of women may have chronic scar pain, resulting in difficulty performing daily activities.⁠

💪🏿So, don’t get down if the scale isn’t changing. As long as you’re getting stronger, feeling more confident, and daily life activities are getting easier, you’re making amazing progress. Keep it up! 🥳
