Spring is here, and if you’ve been thinking about growing your own healing herbs, now is the time. 🌿

A few of our favorites to start with: calendula, chamomile, arnica, red clover, and California poppy. They’re gentle, generous plants that don’t ask for much and give back in so many ways. Think simple teas, infusions, oils, and salves.

You really don’t need a big garden. A few pots on a porch or a small corner of a yard is plenty to get started.

What we love most about growing your own is the relationship you build with the plant. You start to notice the little finer things in life. When it blooms, how it smells, the pollinators they attract, how it changes through the season. It slows you down in the best way. And, we’re pretty sure we could all use a bit of a slower pace in life these days.

Plus, the more love you put into your herb garden, the more love those herbs will give back to you. 🌸
