Happy Sunday, friends!! This is taking a lot of bravery for me because it feels very self-aggrandizing, but if we don’t ask for what we want we will never get it, right? I have been wanting to break into inspirational public speaking for years and I have NO CLUE where to start. Do I need an agent/promoter to help me find gigs, or is that something one does to vet and manage gig opportunities once she has successfully broken into the field? All I know is I do not feel like I have the time or energy to market myself so I thought I hatvthe he k, let me see what my Facebook peeps have to say…any guidance/advice/experience with this kind of thing is much appreciated! 🥰🙏🏻💫

I recently got hired on a team of professional psychic readers for an app called Everclear. While I’ve been working as a professional tarot reader under Page of Wands since 2017, and operating as a completely independently owned and operated brand since 2019, things feel tougher now than ever before. It’s hard to believe I started POW and The Empress Table nearly six years ago, along with stints of working as a reader in Cassadaga and as a chef running the kitchen out of Luisa’s Cellar in Sanford. 🔮

Now here we are in 2023, nearly two years into my journey as the proprietor and kitchen witch of Spellbound Cafe in DeLand, still trying to make it every day and keep a brick and mortar afloat post-pandemic and in the midst of soaring food costs. This path has not been for the meek, and I want to give up all of the time. But instead I wake up and hustle. I create new events, I shop and shop and shop and drive and drive and drive. I post and post and post. I apply and apply and apply. The hustle is hard and it’s real, so I created a fun little resume highlighting my skills as a professional reader and psychic. It has given me the opportunity to realize how far I have come, and how trusting myself has allowed my gifts to continue to manifest and grow. 🌱

I have another interview with another remote psychic line out of England next week, and as I continue this journey, I’m just going to keep putting myself out there and be the best version of myself that I can be. If anyone wants some guidance, please feel free to hit me up for a reading! I truly believe this work is my calling and I’d love to help give you some clarity, validation and peace. 🕯️

🙃The Hanged Man in the traditional tarot deck is a card of interesting complexity which presents both an opportunity and a question. On one hand, it gives the querent the opportunity to explore his/her current situation and consider the ways in which a different perspective can be taken in regards to what is happening. On the other hand, it asks the querent to explore the contributing factors that led to this place. Were they mostly exterior? Look again. Oftentimes the hanged man arrived to this place by choice, hence the look of contentment on his face, although the exact choices that led to this place may not always be immediately clear. The advice of the hanged man card is to use this time of contemplation wisely. Hang here too long and opportunities will fall from your pockets like the coins falling out of his purse. Consider all options and do not force yourself into the next stage too quickly. Allow the answer is to come to you naturally, and you will be able to make your next move with clarity, confidence and wisdom.
