✨ Now that my business is officially launched, I’d love to take a moment to introduce myself! ✨
👋 Hi, I’m Kristina Silverman, an Occupational Therapist, Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), Senior Home Safety Specialist (SHSS), holder of an Executive Certificate in Home Modifications (ECHM) and founder of Kristina Silverman, Occupational Therapy, APC!
💡 Why I Started This Business:
I’ve always been passionate about helping people thrive in life by recognizing and building upon their unique skills. I believe that confidence and independence come from the ability to do what matters most to each individual. Our home plays a crucial role in this; after all, home is where we spend most of our time, create memories, and find comfort. It's where we feel safe, maintain routines, and stay connected to our loved ones. My mission is to help people stay safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes as they age. After working in home health therapy and seeing firsthand the challenges many individuals face, I knew I wanted to create a service that bridges the gap between occupational therapy, home safety, and aging-in-place solutions.
🏡 My Mission:
I help individuals and families make their homes safer, more functional, and better suited for long-term independence. Through personalized OT treatments, home safety assessments, and home modifications, I empower my clients to age in place with confidence.
✨ Fun Fact About Me: Before becoming an OT, soccer was and still is a huge part of my life. I started playing at age 5 and went on to achieve numerous accomplishments, including winning multiple national championships, earning Golden Boot Awards, MVP honors, and other accolades in the soccer world. My journey led me to play at USC where I had the incredible experience of winning a national championship! The discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and deep understanding of movement I gained through soccer now shape the way I approach OT and helping others move with confidence and ease in their own lives.
