Meet your doula 🌼
Hello everyone, my name is Vivian Gallardo and I am a postpartum doula in the Los Angeles area. I started my journey as a doula because as a professional nanny I found I enjoyed caring for parents as much as I enjoyed caring for their children. With a background in working with special needs children, I found myself helping families through some of their most vulnerable moments. Comforting, guiding, and supporting these families helped make all the difference in their physical and mental state.
After 5 years of working as a professional nanny, I decided that providing the same support to new parents would be my next step. I’ve since embarked on my journey in getting fully certified in postpartum care, and intend to continue getting educated in birth work and more!
I hope to provide a safe space for families to be vulnerable, and relieve some of the fears that the fourth trimester may bring.
Although I’m newer to postpartum care, I come with tons of references and referral letters from former families I’ve worked for as a nanny. I have worked with special needs children, infants, twins, multiples and have provided overnight care.
I provide night time or day time support depending on your needs. As I’m newer to the doula world, my first 3 clients booked will be offered a discounted rate.
