📢 Youth Mental Health Matters Now More Than Ever 💚

The American Psychological Association reports that anxiety and depression rates among young people have skyrocketed in recent years. Many kids and teens are struggling with stress, pressure, and emotional challenges that can feel overwhelming.

The APA recommends several simple but powerful strategies to support youth mental wellness:
🌿 Getting outside and staying active
😴 Prioritizing healthy sleep
🗣 Talking it out with someone they trust
💛 Staying connected and supported

At NLBHA, our Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) program offers Youth Mental Health First Aid and other specialized trainings designed to help adults recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health concerns in young people.

If you work with youth — in schools, clinics, community centers, faith settings, or at home — these tools can make a life-changing difference.

Together, we can build stronger, healthier futures for our youth. 🌟
