As Optical Manager at our St. Michael’s location, Ray not only helps guide patients to the right frame—he’s also behind the scenes sourcing eyewear from around the world, thoughtfully curating unique lines that elevate the entire experience.

Dr. Micayla Botwin Fisher-Ives 👁️✨

A Santa Fe native, Dr. Micayla is the daughter of Dr. Mark Botwin and sister to Dr. Jon and Dr. Jeremy — continuing a legacy of care with her own thoughtful, modern approach.

She has been practicing with Botwin Eye Group since 2016 and is board-certified in Ocular Therapeutics. Recognized as Young Optometrist of the Year (2024) and a 40 Under 40 Top Business Leader (2025), she specializes in dry eye disease and advanced ocular surface treatment — including Lumenis IPL, one of the most effective technologies for long-term dry eye relief.

Her care is precise, patient-focused, and grounded in both advanced technology and genuine connection.

Dr. Micayla will be out on maternity leave soon and is expected to return mid-August. We’re so excited for her during this special time and look forward to welcoming her back.
