More than 200 patients, community members, and oncology care team members joined us for our Cancer Survivors Day Fair on Sunday, June 9 🎉

Providence Saint John's cancer patients, families, caregivers, medical staff, physicians, and leaders gathered to celebrate survivorship. Attendees enjoyed delicious food, live music, a tai chi class, an art mural wall, and educational booths centered on the theme "Surviving and Thriving."

Special thanks to Santa Monica Mayor Phil Brock, Mayor Pro Tempore Lana Negrete and leaders from Saint John's Cancer Institute.

We appreciate everyone who made this event a success, including our environmental services, food and nutrition services, engineering, security, maintenance and volunteer services teams. Together, we celebrated the strength and resilience of our cancer survivors!

Today, the Women’s Health and Wellness Institute would like to focus on the importance of learning how to manage and decrease stress levels. This past month we shared that the Office on Women’s Health identified that women are more likely than men to have mental health conditions which are made worse by stress.
